Bipolaris australiensis

Bipolaris australiensis showing sympodial development of darkly pigmented, multicellular conidia (phragmoconidia) on a geniculate or zig-zag rachis.  Conidia are produced through pores in the conidiophore wall (poroconidia) and are fusiform to ellipsoidal, germinating only from the ends (bipolar).
