Acremonium sp.

Microscopic morphology of an Acremonium sp. showing long, hyaline, awl-shaped, simple, erect, phialides arising from hyphae or fascicles.  Conidia are usually one-celled (ameroconidia), hyaline, globose to cylindrical, and mostly aggregated in slimy heads at the apex of each phialide.
